Murals
The murals in this portfolio showcase my exploration of American Folk Art, where my vision ends up on buildings, walls, and alleys. I hope to display my art in areas inhabited by the working class as a connection to my roots in rural America. I gravitate towards painting animals because It keeps me attached to the natural world, while also bringing a look of nature to urban environments.
Graphics and Illustrations
These are just some drawings i've created over the years. They are my interpretation of people, places, and things that I have seen in my adventures across America.
Skateboards
Skateboards were my first pieces of commissioned artwork. I started working with Life Skateboards, carving linoleum to be pressed individually on each skateboard. Since then, I have done some graphics for independent clients, while sometimes using old decks for canvases in other projects.
Beer Cans and Logos
I've worked with a number of businesses local to Central Indiana to design various beer can graphics and logos. Like my murals, they frequently feature animals and wood-carved style to bring natural elements to unnatural places.
